The Weligama Community Welfare & Education Centre:
The Weligama Community Welfare & Education Centre is an IODR long term development project. It is currently being built on a 4 acre site near Weligama town in Southern Sri Lanka. The Weligama centre will provide a sustainable services and become a centre of excellence to the community for years to come.
Specifically, the Weligama Centre will identify vulnerable families and children in the community and work with them on livelihood programmes which will improve their education and employment opportunities.
